Terms and Conditions
- Nominees must be a TASS athlete in 2016/17
- Nominations open at 9:00am on Friday 30 June 2017 and close at 11:59pm on Sunday 16 July 2017
- Nominations must be made online using the designated online forms
- Nominations via email, social media or any other channel will not be accepted
- Nominations can be made in five categories: Most Committed, Most Inspirational, Most Enterprising, Most Determined, Star of the Year
- Nominations are limited to a maximum of two categories per nominee
- Nominations can be made by the TASS athlete themselves, or any member of the athlete’s entourage, including but not limited to: a peer, parent/guardian, coach, Delivery Site Lead, NGB Lead
- Fifteen finalists (three per category) will be shortlisted by TASS and notified by Friday 21 July 2017
- Should a finalist wish to withdraw their entry they must notify TASS by Wednesday 26 July 2017
- Finalists are expected to attend the IAAF World Championships on Friday 11 August 2017 from 10:00am until 1:30pm
- TASS will cover finalists’ travel expenses to attend the IAAF World Championships on Friday 11 August 2017
- Finalists’ entries will be scored by the judging panel (as described) using the category criteria (as described)
- The nominee from each category with the greatest score will be deemed the winner
- In the event of a tie in scores the TASS Director’s decision is final
- Winners will be announced before/after (TBC) the IAAF World Championships on Friday 11 August 2017
- Five winners (one per category) will receive a TASS Stars Awards trophy
- Prize is as described and is not transferable and there is no cash alternative
- Nominees must cooperate with TASS publicity as and when TASS deems appropriate
