The TASS investment is targeted to enable eligible athletes to access high quality training on a weekly basis, whilst at the same time allowing them to overcome some of the traditional barriers to the access of both sport and education.
This is done by ensuring that TASS athletes are part of an integrated pathway that focusses on both sport and education within a structured and supportive environment, whilst being considered part of the GB family.
The emerging centralised programme based at the University of Worcester is a key site for TASS delivery to Wheelchair Basketball, but TASS also supports athletes within the GB Junior and High Performance Centre Squads at other sites across the network.
