TASS is a fundamental part of the talent pathway for British Weight Lifting (BWL) as it provides the opportunity to introduce and accelerate young athletes into the pathway, echoing the BWL Performance Program philosophy, training environment and performance support.
It also encourages athletes to pursue higher and further education opportunities, which has fostered their knowledge and skill development alongside their pursuit of excellence in Weightlifting.
TASS typically supports athletes at the Performance Academy level of the British Weight Lifting Talent Pathway.
