At Northumbria University we offer a number of flexible learning courses, which can fit around the commitments and demands of an elite athlete. Northumbria is one of the largest universities in the country, offering almost 500 courses. Course options range from fully distance-learning courses which can be studied from anywhere in the world at any time; part-time courses with limited class-based sessions; to more traditional full-time taught courses. Therefore, if required athletes can combine studies with training and competition programmes that are based outside of the UK.

As a TASS delivery site (TDS) we offer an athlete centred support package including; strength & conditioning, physiotherapy, sports massage, lifestyle support, sports psychology and athlete education workshops. At Northumbria University we pride ourselves on having expert delivery staff who work together as a team to offer an integrated service to our athletes.
