King’s College London is a world-leading research university and consistently rated in the top 10 in the UK. Based in the heart of London, with five campuses and more than 31,000 students from nearly 150 countries.

As a department, King’s Sport aims to be the Most Active University in London with our commitment to developing talented athletes reflected in our TASS Dual Career Accreditation. Receiving this accreditation affirms King’s ambition to ensure students can succeed and perform optimally in both their academic and sporting careers.

We have recently developed our programme to focus on a holistic approach driving the individual needs of our student athletes. The King’s Sport Performance Programme offers a wide-range of high-quality support to all TASS athletes. This includes the TASS core services; one-to-one strength & conditioning support with an individual personalised training programme, as well as, sports Science testing and monitoring. We offer one-to-one lifestyle support, building an individual development plan for the athlete to work towards, as well as, one-to-one sports psychology support and nutritional advice. Athletes also have access to all performance workshops running throughout the year to help maximize performance and offer support in areas such as time management, goal setting, career development, nutrition and psychology.

Kings Sport works in partnership with the Universities Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences degree programme to offer Sport Science support as well as guest speakers throughout the year.

TASS athletes supported by King’s Sport will also receive free peak gym access to all three of our gyms located at Strand, Waterloo and London Bridge along with King’s Sport performance kit.

With Olympian alumni including Dina Asher-Smith and Kathrine Grainger and current international athletes such as Imani-Lara Lansiquot (2018 European 4x100m gold) we look forward to working with TASS to recruit, support and develop talented individuals to world class student athletes.
