Carmel College is an outstanding sixth form college delivering a range of A Level and BTEC courses. The college has an A Level pass rate of 99% and a BTEC pass rate of 100% with 88% of BTEC grades at Distinction*/Distinction. The Department for Education A Level performance tables place Carmel top of all A Level providers in the borough for A Level Progress.
Alongside Carmel’s reputation for academic excellence, the college has a longstanding reputation for supporting athletes. The college’s commitment to sport is reflected in their newly earned TASS Dual Career Accreditation. Carmel has a dedicated link member of staff for TASS who acts as a primary contact for queries and communication as well as promotion of TASS opportunities to other talented young athletes.
Athletes will benefit from a range of support whilst at Carmel. They will have a Personal Achievement Tutor who will monitor their progress and they’ll be involved in the TASS group where they will attend workshops to support them with their dual career aspirations. The college is committed to ensuring their athletes are given the academic flexibility and support necessary to excel not only in the classroom, but in their sport too.
