TASS is looking to appoint a TALS Tutor and Assessor as the scheme looks to further strengthen it’s support network for talented student athletes.

The TALS Tutor and Assessor will be responsible for delivering the 1st4sport Level 3 Talented Athlete Lifestyle Support (TALS) qualification to practitioners in the area of lifestyle and personal development support for athletes.

The role will involve both tutoring and assessing learners and courses will be delivered at various education sites across England. The position will also support the running of the TASS TALS Centre.

The post holder can either be based at the TASS National Office in Newcastle upon Tyne or at home, with frequent national travel anticipated and the potential for occasional international work.

With the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo taking place next year, and the next edition of the Commonwealth Games being on home soil in Birmingham in 2022, it is an interesting and exciting time for the organisation.
