University of BathBath is One of the Bigger TASS Hubs and Coordinates Delivery in the South West

The University of Bath ranks highly in the league tables of UK universities published by a number of national newspapers, including the Times, Independent and Guardian. Its research is internationally respected, and its students are in demand by employers because of the high quality of teaching offered at the University.

Team Bath is the University’s sports brand. It covers the family of sports and recreation-related activities at the University. Team Bath is based within world-class, £30 million sports facilities including the Sports Training Village. Our “home” is used as a training base by Olympic and world-level athletes as well as providing facilities and services to local, regional and national sports groups, squads and individual members of the public, making Team Bath unique in British sport.

The University of Bath is the TASS hub site for a network that includes six partner institution sites:

  1. University of Exeter
  2. Filton College
  3. Hartpury College
  4. Millfield School
  5. University of Bristol
  6. University of Gloucestershire
  7. University of West of England (UWE)

The University of Bath is responsible for the coordination and quality assurance of the partner institution service delivery. Each site has the capacity to deliver Strength and Conditioning, Physiotherapy and Lifestyle Support in accordance with TASS expectations.
Complementing the core service delivery, the hub site delivers a range of workshops designed to educate and enhance our athlete’s experience and awareness of core Lifestyle, Physiotherapy and S&C related skills. Additionally, the hub site provides a range of interdisciplinary CPD opportunities for the network.
