Ben Haines Athlete Profile

I train with BTS in Southampton, which is a brilliant club and I owe a lot to Gareth and Joe Brown. My aim is to join the GB Team and represent GB in world class events. I enjoy the international circuit which allows me to gain valuable experience. I have had the opportunity of training in Manchester at the Junior Camps 4 times and had the chance to train with the Korean High School Team which was great fun and good experience. I also had the chance to go back up to Manchester for two days to fight the Korean High School captain and had a chance to train with the junior european team. I competed in Coventry at the British Masters and won gold in Juniors and bronze in Seniors. Competing in Germany at the Park Cup and winning Gold. Last juniors fights in February 2012 winning gold, had a great weekend. Thanks Gareth. Now looking forward to competing as a Senior!
I have now had two competitions in Europe as a Senior winning 4 our of 6 fights and narrowlly missing out on a medal. Looking forward to the next competition.
