Africa Mason Athlete Profile

Hi, My name is Africa, im 17 years old and in year 13 currently studying A levels. I compeate for GB in Modern Pentathlon. I started sport as a county and national level swimmer, then when i became injured at age 12 i started to run xcountry for my county. In the next year I won the national biathlon (Run & Swim) and was spotted and asked to attend pentathlon talent ID camps, since then i have been working hard at my other events (Fencing shooting and horseriding) with huge support from my mum and dad. I am the world series biathle champion and have compeated at world championships and europeans winning team silver in 2009 and 2010. I’m so thrilled that I have recieved a TASS scholarship as it will help me to progess and be the best that I can be.
